كشفت شبكة CNN، نقلاً عن مصدر إسرائيلي، أن رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو أبلغ ترامب بأن إسرائيل لا تعتبر نفسها ملزمة بالاتفاق الذي يتضمن بنداً يدعو إلى "إنهاء فوري ودائم" للحرب في لبنان. ورغم خفض إسرائيل مستوى عملياتها العسكرية نتيجة ضغوط أميركية، فإنها لا تزال تؤكد تمسكها بحرية العمل العسكري والأمني بعيداً عن أي تفاهمات بين واشنطن وطهران.
