أعرب الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب عن "أمله" بتجنب القيام بعمل عسكري ضد إيران التي توعد مسؤولوها بـ"رد ساحق" على أي ضربة أميركية.
أعلن الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب، الخميس، أن نظيره الروسي فلاديمير بوتين وافق على وقف الهجمات على كييف ومدن أوكرانية أخرى لمدة أسبوع.وقال ترامب، خلال اجتماع حكومي في البيت الأبيض، إنه طلب شخصيًّا من الرئيس الروسي تعليق القصف لمدة أسبوع بسبب موجة برد وصفها بـ"الاستثنائية". وأضاف أن الأمر لا يتعلق ببرودة عادية، بل ببرد قياسي ناتج عن كتلة كبيرة من الطقس السيئ.
