Turkey Reaffirms Support for Syrian Sovereignty After Israeli Strike

Turkey denied on Thursday having any military presence at an air base in north Syria struck by Israel earlier this week, and vowed to continue "resolutely" supporting Syrian sovereignty.

"We state that there was no Turkish military delegation at the Abu al-Duhur airbase before or during the attack carried out by Israel against that base in Syria," a defence ministry official told journalists.
