In their first public appearance, the official account of the Royal Hashemite Court shared a photo of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah holding their granddaughters, Rania and Talia. The grandparents appeared visibly joyful and emotional as they embraced the twins in a warm family moment.
The Royal Hashemite Court captioned the photo: “May God bless them with lives filled with faith and blessings, and grant them the best of destinies.”
Queen Rania also shared a series of family photos documenting the first moments following the twins’ birth. In some of the pictures, she was seen lovingly holding the newborns, while King Abdullah II appeared carrying one of his granddaughters. Princess Salma and Prince Hashem were also featured in the family photos.
Amina, Princess Iman’s eldest daughter, also captured attention in one of the touching pictures. She appeared alongside her grandparents, King Abdullah II and Queen Rania, as they looked at her two baby sisters lying in their cribs.
The Hashemite family welcomed Amina, the first daughter of Princess Iman and her husband Jameel Alexander Thermiotis, in February 2025, before the family’s joy grew even greater with the arrival of twins Rania and Talia.
Queen Rania celebrated the happy news with an emotional message, writing: “Thank God for your safety, my beloved Iman. You have brightened the family, doubled our joy, and increased our blessings. Congratulations to Iman and Jameel, and congratulations to my beloved Amina on becoming a big sister. May they grow up to be righteous and devoted, God willing.”
