During her appearance as a guest on journalist Engy Ali’s program “Asrar Al-Nogoum”, Nashwa Mostafa spoke about their life together, explaining that disagreements were a normal part of their marriage. She said she never allowed any problem to push her to leave their home.
The most emotional moment came when she recalled an incident that took place just three days before her husband’s death. He surprised her with an emotional confession that remained etched in her memory, telling her that he had realized he loved her more than she loved him.
Nashwa explained that her husband was usually the one who took the initiative to reconcile after any disagreement, which gave those final words even greater meaning after his passing.
She also spoke about his personality, describing him as highly intelligent and well-educated. He had previously studied psychology, which, according to her, helped him understand her personality and deal with her during moments of anger.
She revealed that at the beginning of their marriage, her husband had asked her to step away from acting. Over time, however, she managed to convince him to let her continue her artistic career, emphasizing that she always made sure to choose roles she would not feel ashamed of in front of her family.
Speaking about her life after his passing, Nashwa did not hide the deep emptiness his absence had left behind, saying she wished he could be by her side at this stage of her life. She added that the experience of loss had changed many things within her, including on a spiritual level. Her relationship with prayer became deeper, and she now finds a different kind of comfort and companionship in it, helping her cope with his absence and move forward with her life.
