Nadine Al Rassi Weighs In on Dr. Food and Shorouq’s Dispute.. Here’s What She Said About the Divorce Party
Lebanese actress Nadine Al Rassi sparked wide interaction on social media after making sarcastic comments about the growing dispute between content creator Shorouq, known as “Sunshine,” and her husband George Deeb, known as “Dr. Food,” especially after the two exchanged accusations and Shorouq announced that she was preparing a party to celebrate her divorce.
Nadine Al Rassi appeared in a video filmed inside her car. At first, she tried to avoid talking about the issue, but then returned to comment on it in a sarcastic way, referring to Dr. Food’s recent statements about his relationship with Shorouq and the information he claimed to have about her.
While mocking his comments, Nadine said that he claims to have information about his wife and the mother of his children, but at the same time refuses to reveal it out of respect for her former husband. She then turned to a friend who was with her and jokingly asked: “Do you understand me?”
Her comments came after Dr. Food appeared in a video responding to photos and clips that had recently circulated online, which included accusations that he had abused his wife during their marriage.
He said that there were other parts of the story that had not been made public. He also spoke about Shorouq’s previous marriages, claiming that he had information and details that he did not want to share on social media out of respect for her former husband.
The dispute also comes as Dr. Food faces a legal case. Reports had previously said that the Mount Lebanon Criminal Court issued a ruling against him, along with other defendants, in a case related to the manufacturing and export of illegal drugs.
Nadine Al Rassi’s comments were not limited to the dispute between the couple. She also criticized the idea of the “divorce party” that Shorouq announced she was preparing to celebrate the end of her marriage and the beginning of a new chapter in her life.
Nadine sarcastically questioned the idea of holding parties to celebrate divorce, saying that attitudes toward separation have changed greatly. She noted that divorced people used to face criticism and negative comments, while today some people spend money to celebrate the occasion.
