Spot Gold Falls to $4417 an Ounce
Gold prices fell to their lowest level in nearly two weeks on Monday after US Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh indicated that higher interest rates may be necessary to ease price pressures, according to WAFA.
Spot gold dropped 0.8% to $4,417.04 per ounce by 04:06 GMT, its lowest level since August 19.
US gold futures also declined, falling 1.4% to $4,466.80 per ounce.
