The ministry said it had completed rehabilitation and paving works on the Mayfouq–President Michel Sleiman Complex road and the Behdaydat road in the Jbeil district, as well as roads in Majdalia in the Zgharta district. Damaged sections were rehabilitated, prepared and resurfaced with new asphalt layers in accordance with technical standards.
Works are currently under way in Ain Anoub, Aainab and Bdadoun in the Aley district, Beireh in the Chouf district, and Mansourieh in the Metn district, including repairs to damaged sections, preparation works and new asphalt paving.
Also in the Metn district, the ministry is carrying out repairs to damaged retaining walls along the Bikfaya–Dhour Choueir main road. In coordination with the Internal Security Forces, traffic diversions and alternative routes have been put in place to maintain movement between affected areas during the works.
The ministry said the projects are important for improving connectivity between regions, facilitating mobility and enhancing road safety along the targeted routes.
It thanked residents and road users for their patience and understanding during the works, stressing that rehabilitation and maintenance projects would continue on additional roads based on priorities and field needs across Lebanon.
