A statement issued by Defense Minister Michel Menassa said:

Minister of National Defense Major General Michel Menassa met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and conveyed to him the greetings of Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun, expressing appreciation for his gracious invitation, warm hospitality, and the efforts made to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the founding of the Non-Aligned Movement.

The meeting addressed the options being considered for the period following the end of the mandate of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) later this year. The two sides also discussed the general situation in Lebanon, particularly in the south.
